Wine Review: A small group of panel members really enjoyed this tasty Zin from Ravenswood. This inky purple wine opens with a spicy black cherry bouquet with hints of dried cranberry. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, and has forward black cherry flavors that burst in your mouth. This wine is a fruit bomb lovers Zinfandel that is just packed with flavor. The finish is rather dry and really persists for quite some time. This wine paired perfectly with some thinly sliced grilled London broil. Enjoy this fruit bomb – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2005 Belloni is characterized by big ripe flavors - a characteristic achieved by the co-fermentation of Zinfandel, Carignane, Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouchet grapes. Seemingly sweet, this wine is actually very round and full with lots of boysenberry, raspberry and blueberry hints to it. The nice acidity gives the wine a good balance and structure. Enjoy its long, elegant finish which fills the palate beautifully. – Joel Peterson
