Wine Review: At a recent business dinner at Meritage Restaurant in Boston this wine was clear favorite wines amongst the Old World fans at the table. This dark purple wine opens with a very aromatic and oaky cedar like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is very well balanced, has decent acidity, and no hard edges. The flavor profile was spicy plum with an oak influence. The finish was is dry and lingers for quite a while. This wine from a great vintage is still available online and is a steal for the price.
