Wine Review: I really like this Pinot from Russian River. This dark red wine opens with a very attractive floral like bouquet that just invites you to drink it. On the palate, this wine is round, medium bodied, has some acidity, and has forward spicy like flavors with hints of chocolate on the back end. The finish is dry, a touch acidic, tingly, and lingers for quite some time. This wine would match perfectly with veal parmigianna. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: There are hints of violets, cinnamon and cloves on the nose. Black raspberry and cherry enhance the heady aromas, finishing with a good acid balance and well integrated tannins. It’s a bit young and tight now, needs time in the glass to really blossom. Let it breath for at least half an hour.
