Wine Review: Everyone loves a deal. Well this wine is a steal. This very dark purple wine from winemaker Laurent Tibes opens with a mild old world earthy styled bouquet. On the palate, this wine is very very well balanced, medium bodied, dry, has dusty cherry like flavors, and a bit of spice as well. The finish is very very dry, shows some tannins, and has some length to it. This wine would pair nicely with steak. This wine is just a point or two below winemaker Tibes’ "La Grangette – Fitou." However, given the price it is a real steal. Enjoy – Ken
