Wine Review: This very dark purple wine opens with a very aromatic blackberry like bouquet with hints of menthol, spice, and a touch of heat. On the palate, this full bodied wine is well balanced, smooth, and has sweet black cherry and chocolate flavors with a little oak and pepper influence. The finish is quite dry and it has lengthy medium tannins. It is also a bit acidic and hot as well. The panel felt this wine would pair nicely with a ribeye, but also could benefit from some extra time in the cellar. Enjoy - KWGTP
