Wine Review: This ruby red wine opens up with a relatively light raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is smooth, really well balanced, slightly dry, and displays really juicy mild cherry like flavors with a little integrated oak. This wine is very easy to drink and more new world styled than you might expect. This would be a Very Good introductory wine for those exploring the Malbecs of Cahors. This wine is ready to drink now and would pair perfectly with pork tenderloin and meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark, shining and limpid red. End evolving/moving gradually on red fruit notes slightly liquoriced. Typified and without excess. Of a beautiful balance which gets a real pleasure. A harmonious wine of beautiful constitution molten and ready to drink.

Your comments on this wine:

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
