Wine Review: No one makes a high volume Chardonnay as well as Kendall Jackson. Every year the Vintners Reserve is one of the best value Chardonnay’s in the market. This year’s version is particularly food friendly and the best in recent memory. This bright golden yellow wine opens with a light Mackintosh apple like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine has a round mouthfeel, shows good balance, and is quite easy to drink. The flavor profile is a blend of creamy light lime and crispy apple. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This wine should be on every restaurant’s glass pour list given its food friendliness. It would match particularly well with a chicken dish with a white cream and mushroom sauce. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: "Tropical flavors such as mango and pineapple dance with aromas of peach, apple and pear. Richly layered and balanced throughout. Lightly buttered toast headlines the indulgent, lingering finish." – Randy Ullom, Winemaster
