Wine Review: This dark ruby wine opens with an aromatic cherry jam like bouquet with hints of black olives. On the palate, this Old World Rioja styled wine needed a little time in the decanter to open up. Once it did it displayed sweet black cherry flavors with smoky notes and some noticeable oak. The finish is very very dry and has some tannin that lingers for quite some time. This wine would pair nicely with game and beef stew. Enjoy - Ken
