Wine Review: This Chardonnay is a consistently Very Good performer. This light yellow wine opens with a light but fragrant vanilla like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, slightly creamy, and has tasty pear and vanilla flavors with hints of banana, oak, and tropical fruit. The finish is dry and slightly extended. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Clean, crisp flavors of pear, citrus, apple and a touch of vanilla coupled with a bouquet of ripe tropical fruits, pineapple and a hint of spice, creates an intriguing palate in our 2006 Ashley's Vineyard Chardonnay from the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. The well managed acidity makes for a balanced white with a nice creamy finish.
