Wine Review: We recently did a mini blind tasting of a few Chianti Classicos. This option was our favorite one of the five we tried. This black cherry colored wine opens with a moderate raspberry bouquet with hints of coffee and caramel. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is nicely balanced and displays dark plum and raspberry like flavors with hints of oak, coffee, and strawberry. The finish is dry, a touch acidic, and has slight length. The panel felt this wine would pair nicely with veal scallopini, Antipasto, and Spanish rice. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby color, forest berries notes with spicy overtones. Full-flavored, soft, with well-balanced acidity. Clean and persistent aftertaste.
