Wine Review: This wine is not in the same league as the Excellent 2001, but a very respectable follow up. This bright ruby wine opens with a pleasant and fragrant cherry like bouquet with hints of oak in the background. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, very smooth, elegant, and not a lot of structure. It has nicely integrated acidity that leads to absolutely delicious cherry flavors. The finish is dry and has soft tannins that drift away nicely. This wine is not a cellar dweller, but instead should be consumed in the short run with a tasty filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
