Wine Review: This is an impressive wine that calls for a second glass or bottle. This very dark purple wine opens with a pleasant spicy black cherry bouquet with hints of new oak. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is incredibly smooth, well balanced, with tasty dusty black cherry and currant flavors with notes of black licorice and dried cranberries on the back palate. The finish is and has well managed tannins that land softly. This wine has an elegant feel and would pair perfectly with filet mignon. Enjoy this gem - Ken

Winemaker Notes: An impenetrable ruby colour, full-bodied, with clear legs on the sides of the glass. The nose has woody tones alternating with red currant, bilberry, sour cherry and black fig, followed by vanilla and later overtones of tobacco and iced coffee. The palate is lively, with distinct tannins that are not invasive, freshness and alcoholic warmth. The finish is prolonged with a return to sour cherry and red currant.
