Wine Review: If you like dessert wines, it is hard not to love Muscat. It smells great and tastes great as well. This offering from Lost Angel is light yellow in color and opens with a mango and orange peel like bouquet with pretty floral notes as well. On the palate, it is full bodied, soft textured, and creamy but not too heavy, It is a little less rich than the Tears of Dew, but it is pleasantly sweet with a flavor profile of apricot, honey, and melon. The finish shows a little acidity that lingers briefly. My sister who likes sweet wines would love this Muscat. Serve this wine as a dessert wine or with sliced green apples and cheese. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The explosion of fruit continues to the palate with the essence of lilac, rose petals, and orange blossoms filling. Fruit pours from the glass to the nose with distinctive Muscat fruit of pears, apricots, guava and honey dew. The fruit is balanced with crisp acidity for a refreshing long, aromatic finish. Serve chilled with appetizers of grilled chicken skewers wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic sesame reduction sauce.
