Wine Review: This organic wine from Yorkville Cellars is a great deal. It is a dark ruby colored red blend that opens with a spicy black raspberry like bouquet. It features 3 grape varietals that I have really enjoyed from Yorkville in the past. It is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Verdot. Winemaker Greg Graziano has come up with a tasty blend for these lower profile grapes. The result is a wine that is medium bodied and very well balanced on the palate with very appealing black raspberry flavors and a hint of spice. The finish is quite long and its well managed tannins are very nicely prolonged. In conclusion this wine is a lot of wine for the money. It would pair quite well with a nice prime rib dinner. Enjoy - Ken
