Wine Review: I have always been a fan of White Oak’s Merlot and this vintage is no exception. This opaque very dark purple wine opens with a very aromatic and attractive spicy red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, soft, elegant, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty light raspberry with a touch of blueberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its tannins are properly managed. Our mini group thought this wine would pair well with veal parmigianna. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Bright fruit notes of black cherry along with vanilla, coffee and chocolate reveal extra dimensions of depth and complexity. Rich and supple, with firm but integrated tannins.
