Wine Review: We tried several wines over the course of Easter weekend and this wine was the winning wine. It is ruby colored wine and opens with a spicy black raspberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, and extremely smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious black cherry with notes of vanilla and light oak. The wine ends dry and its well managed tannins lead into a long lingering finish. I would pair this wine with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dense color with a red cherry hue. Aromas of plum, chocolate, and cherry pie accentuated by hints of violet, clove, cinnamon spice and vanilla bean. Bright red fruit flavors of Bing cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, contrasted by dark and compelling layers of blueberry, mocha and molasses. Great structure with smooth, fine tannins, a black pepper mid-palate and long nutmeg and red currant finish.

Organic status: not organic
