Wine Review: We had the pleasure to try the Usseglio lineup again this year at the Boston Wine Expo with owner Jean Pierre Usseglio. This offering, the Cuvee de Mon Aieul is their premiere wine and the results reflect that. This wine is very dark and has an opaque purple color. It opens with a very aromatic black currant like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious black raspberry with nice spice and oak influences. The finish is dry and very nicely prolonged. Pair this gem with a filet mignon at your favorite steak house. Enjoy - Ken
