Wine Review: This opaque very dark ruby colored wine opens with an attractive blackberry and licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, soft, and balanced with juicy blackberry flavors. There were oaky notes mixed in as well. The finish is very dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This is a quaffing wine, that is food friendly and can be paired with barbecue grilled chicken. Enjoy – Ken
