Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Merlot was well received by those that recently tried it. It opens with a spicy mulberry like bouquet with a hint of menthol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and nicely balanced with complex flavors of concentrated black cherry flavors. There were notes of blackberry as well. I even detected some dark chocolate on the back palate. The finish is dry and its well managed tannins are nicely prolonged. The finish is dry and its well managed tannins are nicely prolonged. Pair this tasty Merlot with a NY Strip Steak soon. Enjoy – Ken
