Wine Review: I decided to try this wine in a vertical with the 2005. The 2004 opens with a very pleasant, inviting, and pronounced raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine has intense and explosive fruit flavors. The wine is very concentrated, rich, and almost liquor like. The finish is very dry, very prolonged, and a bit hot. This wine is best served on its own. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Dark red-black. Aroma: Intense black raspberry, chocolate, dusty/mineral, lavender, clove, black pepper. Taste: Plum, cassis, black raspberry fruit, chocolate and vanilla, clove spice, thick and velvety texture on the midpalate, long sweet finish of black raspberry fruit, sweet chocolate and spice.

Organic status: not organic
