Wine Review: This slightly opaque and very dark red colored wine opens with a pomegranate bouquet with a hint of red raspberry and cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, really smooth and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild pomegranate and faint red raspberry blend with notes of gentle minerality. I also detected a hint of red cherry and black tea towards the end. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and gentle flavors drift away nicely. This wine is a bit of a quaffer, since it goes down so easily. You could drink it on its own or pair it with the Food Network’s Sunday roast beef and gravy – Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: An elegant alchemy of seeming contradictions: delicate and fresh yet earthy and savory, full-bodied yet ethereal. Lifted aromas of wild raspberry, white pepper and mountain violets. Flavors of black cherry, candied red fruit with undertones of oiled leather and fresh nutmeg spice.
