Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend opens with mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is an old oak influenced plum with notes of spice. I also detected hints of blackberry. The finish is dry and its mild acidity and moderate tannins linger nicely. This wine would pair well with Chinese barbecue pork ribs. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A captivating complement of aromas greets you with opulent, spice-laden berries, toasty oak, and plum. Hints of anise, orange zest, Asian pear, and earthiness add harmony from the background. A juicy, dark essence—blackberry, plum, currant, cherry, and black pepper—set the tone as the flavors resonate across the palate and linger in the finish. Integrated oak tones back up notes of blueberry, licorice, leather, and crisp pear. This unique composition of varietals pairs beautifully with ratatouille over penne or grilled lamb chops basted with rosemary and garlic olive oil.
