Wine Review: This golden straw colored Chardonnay opens with a fragrant bouquet that includes herbs, vanilla bean and hints of tropical fruits in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and soft. Its flavor profile is buttery with tangerines, nicely managed vanilla oak, light pear and a little toast. The finish is smooth and creamy. I would pair this Chardonnay with grilled scallops. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: This creamy, layered Chardonnay features aromas of creme brulee, golden apples and toasted marshmallows. The palate reveals tropical fruit and pineapple flavors complemented by a velvety texture and rich, buttery finish. Herb-crusted halibut with minted sweet pea purée, or a spread of mild, semi-soft goat and cow's milk cheeses.
