Wine Review: They were pouring this wine for the trade at the opening of the Boston Wine Expo. Wow, what a nice way to start of the day. It is very dark ruby colored and opens with an attractive black cherry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, and rich. The flavor profile is a menthol infused blackberry with notes of black cherry and a touch of anise. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty fine tannins are nicely prolonged. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Deep ruby red colored, with violet reflections. Enticing floral bouquet followed by black fruit and spice. Beautifully structured, with black cherry, cassis, and vanilla notes. Marries well with red meat, stews, hearty pasta dishes, and cheese.
