Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chianti Classico Riserva opens with a black cherry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, oak and blackberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a mild tart black cherry with notes of old vanilla oak, coffee, and plum. The finish is dry and it mild tannins are food friendly. I would pair this easy going wine with meat lasagna. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep ruby-red. Bouquet: Rich with notes of cherries, plums, and iris. Taste: Deep cherry and leather flavors with subtle wood notes. Supple tannins, good acidity, and a lingering finish. Perfect with flavorful roasts, pastas, and cheeses.
