Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored wine opens with a fragrant black currant and black raspberry bouquet with scents of oak mixed in as well. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is an oak influenced plum with notes of black cherry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are sticky and show very nice length. This wine will pair well with a New York state strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
