Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Brewer and Clifton is impressive. It opens with an elderberry and RC Cola bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black raspberry with notes of cinnamon, gentle minerality and strawberry. I also detected a faint hint of red currant and oak as it fades away. The finish is dry and its moderate well-managed tannins show nice length for a Pinot. This Pinot is very nice on its own. With food, I would pair it with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
