Wine Review: This Cabernet Sauvignon from Cade is Excellent and was my favorite of four impressive wines that I recently covered. It is an opaque dark violet in color and it opens with a fragrant black currant and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a delicious black currant with notes of nicely integrated minerality. We also detected hints of black licorice, black cherry and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its shows very nice length. This gem would pair nicely with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
