Wine Review: This deep burgundy colored Zinfandel from Carnivor is a very good juicy fruit bomb. It opens with a powerful punch of blackberry, cherry, black currant and kitchen spice on the nose. On the palate, it is medium bodied. The flavor profile is a vanilla and caramel toffee blend with smoky cedar and toasted marshmallow notes. We also detected hints of white pepper. The finish is dry with some light tannins. We would pair this bold Zin with a pulled pork sandwich. Solid value. - Karen and Stuart
