Wine Review: This India ink colored blend opens with a fragrant ripe blackberry jam bouquet with hints of musty old oak and black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused extracted blackberry with notes of black plum and old oak. I also detected hints black raspberry, cinnamon and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This tasty blend would pair nicely with slow cooked barbecue braised short ribs, Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Quite lively and fragrant with ripe blueberry, raspberry and blackberry fruits, tart pomegranate and red Jolly ranchers! Cedar box, brown spices-nutmeg/cinnamon, cherry cola, dark chocolate, a soft whiff of violets, creamy vanilla oak, kick of pepper spice. Very complexly layered weaving of fruit and spice, uber-dense and deep. Wow! Rich in mouth, bright berry fruit tang like a wonderful berry cobbler, good structure for aging, a bit chewy in its youth.
