Wine Review: This dark ruby Sangiovese from Napa is really good. It opens with a cherry-cola bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild RC Cola with notes of black cherry. I also detected hints of oak, minerality and a hint of blueberry. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. No real tannins here. This Sangiovese is food friendly and would pair nicely with beef and cheese manicotti. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Perfumed aromas of dried flowers, red plum, sweet exotic spices and wild berry flavors framed by supple, toasty oak. This classic Italian varietal pairs well with pastas with mild sausage, antipasti with flavorful cheeses, and fish in rich red sauce.
