Wine Review: This ruby colored Chianti Classico Riserva is very good. It opens with a red cherry bouquet with hints of cedar and red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of black cherry and gentle mild oak with notes of plum. The finish is rather dry and its moderate tannins are well managed. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with several Italian dishes. I would pick meat lasagna or rigatoni with Bolognese. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Color: Ruby Red tending towards garnet Bouquet: Rich, intense and complex wine with nots of black cherry and spice. Palate: Full bodied with rich red berry fruit flavors complimenting a backbone of tannin.
