Wine Review: This ruby red colored Spanish Red opens with a ripe black cherry bouquet with hints of mild new leather and a touch of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a mild old infused ripe red currant with notes of nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of black pepper and cranberry. The finish is dry and its moderate dusty tannins are very sticky and last for quite some time. I would pair this fruit bomb with a juicy Angus burger smothered in barbecue sauce. Enjoy - Ken
