Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby colored offering from St. Julien opens with a fragrant and inviting black currant and funky cedar like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and cola blend with notes of blueberry, cedar and a hint of minerality. The finish is dry and its tannins are well-managed and show very nice length. I would pair this wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
