Wine Review: This Pinot Noir arrived recently; I was surprised by the vintage. It is ruby colored and opens with a cranberry bouquet with hints of dark chocolate and black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and rich. The flavor profile is an oak and mineral influenced plum with hints of black cherry and craisin. The finish is very dry and its tannins are very sticky. This is a big Pinot and it explains the late release. I would pair it with a grilled pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The Estate bottling from Domaine Lois Louise is always our most accessible and imminently drinkable wine upon release. It is rich and full bodied with intense fruit (black cherry, plum, cranberry and blueberry jam), moderate oakiness and a long finish. The wine has an "Old World" balance between acidity and tannin.
