Wine Review: This light white gold colored wine from Clos Floridene is very good. It opens with a yellow grapefruit rind bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a tasty light lime and gentle grapefruit blend with hints of white pepper and nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and has nice length for a white wine. This wine is food friendly and would pair very nicely with Emeril’s crab cakes. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Clos Floridene Blanc has the special character of white wines from the great limestone soils: green gold color, intense aroma with fruity notes of white peach, lemon, grapefruit, shades of mineral. Powerful and fresh flavors of the fruit in all its brilliance, density and structure of a great white wine. It can be kept for at least 10 years.
