Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a mild black raspberry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a juicy plum and black raspberry blend with notes of nicely integrated cedar. I also detected hints of black cherry, black currant and a touch of mint green tea at the very end. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and flavors drift away. While this Cab is not the most complex offering, it is tasty and would pair very nicely with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Made exclusively using 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our Hirondelle Estate Vineyard, this exceptional wine displays nuanced complexity. To capture the graceful essence of our estate vineyard, this wine was aged in the finest French oak barrels (60% new). Enticing aromas of clove, blueberry pie and just a hint of menthol lead way to complex red fruit flavors with bright acidity. The wine showcases toasted oak and fine tannins with a long, lingering finish.
