Wine Review: This opaque dark purple wine is definitely Old World styled. It opens with a musty green pepper and black licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a spicy blend of black raspberry and bell pepper with hints of black pepper, anise and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are manageable. The panel would pair this wine with mushroom risotto. Enjoy - KWGTP
