Wine Review: This yellow colored Chardonnay from South Africa is for fans of rich-styled wines. It opens with a fragrant and inviting pineapple and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic, rich and juicy. The flavor profile is a new oak influenced pineapple with notes of Bartlett pear and nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors and pleasant acidity linger and last for quite some time. I would drink this hearty Chard on its own. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: An opulent golden color with green hues, this Chardonnay displays aromas of toasted brioche with zesty marmalade. A backbone of lime and lemongrass with floral notes of honeysuckle and frangipani come through on the palate which segues to a lingering, rich vanilla and a creamy almond finish.

Organic status: not organic
