Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet based wine from Diamond Creek is Excellent. It opens with a fragrant ripe black cherry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of pine needles in the background. The flavor profile is an extracted black cherry and blueberry blend with notes of mild minerality and gentle oak nicely integrated into the blend. The finish is dry and its refined tannins stick around for quite some time. I would pair this gem with a filet mignon from your favorite steak house. Enjoy - Ken
