Wine Review: This light ruby colored Pinot from Burgundy opens with a light red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of blueberry and cherry with hints of vanilla and gentle oak mixed in. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. This is a very elegant and food friendly wine. I would pair it with broiled Norwegian salmon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A beautiful deep, dark ruby color. On the nose, smoky notes give way to a few discreet exotic fruit aromas, such as mango. This wine is fine and elegant on the palate, where black fruit flavors meld nicely with toasty oak notes. Serve with with duck, quail with grapes, venison or other game.
