Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape opens with a mild red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, approachable and refined. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle red currant with hints of strawberry, red cherry, minerals and spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky. Mark and I suggest pairing this very nice CDP with game birds like pheasant or roast quail. Enjoy - Ken
