Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Chateauneuf du Pape opens with a black licorice bouquet with hints of black cherry and oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, dynamic and velvety. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry with hints of blackberry, oak and black cherry. It’s pretty complex. The finish is dry and its tannins build up and stick around for a while. I would pair this terrific wine with a wild boar ragu bolognese. Enjoy - Ken
