Wine Review: This pale yellow colored sparkler with tiny bubbles opens with a faint lilac like bouquet with hints of petrol. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and slightly sweet. The flavor profile is a ripe green pear with a touch of green apple. The finish is dry and subtle. The panel suggested pairing this affordable sparkler with apple pie, candied nuts, or smoked gouda. Winemaker Notes: "This bottle fermented sparkling wine, produced by using traditional Méthode Champenoise techniques, exhibits aromas of fresh lemon-citrus and spice, accented with delicate toasted vanilla top notes. Rich flavors of almonds, nutmeg and citrus saturate the palate and mesh nicely with the wine’s smooth texture and long, creamy finish.
