Wine Review: I tried this tasty dark ruby colored CDP at this year's Newport Wine and Food Festival. It opens with a mild black raspberry bouquet with a hint of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, juicy, and smooth. The flavor profile is a very pleasant blend of black raspberry and black cherry. The finish is dry and its fine tannins are nicely prolonged. This elegant CDP would pair very nicely with sauteed veal medallions in a mushroom brown reduction sauce. Enjoy - Ken
