Wine Review: This light straw colored Riesling from the Finger Lakes is very good and good value. It opens with a mild pineapple bouquet with a hint of coconut. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a pineapple and minerality blend with notes of toasted coconut, Anjou pear, lime and almond. The finish is semi-dry and fades away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Riesling with chicken lo-mein. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The fruit was picked in the early morning to retain freshness and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation was stopped before dryness to preserve the fruity character of this wine. Medium intensity with dominant characters of apricot, honeysuckle, stone fruit and vibrant citrus finish. The light sweetness is well balanced by a soft acidity. A versatile refreshing wine to enjoy on its own or with a wide range of foods.
