Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Gewurztraminer from Dr. Frank opens with a musty ripe lychee like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and very mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a very tasty ripe lychee with notes of mild minerality along with hints of ginger and white pepper. The finish is off-dry and shows nice length. This very good Gewurtz would be nice to sip on a hot summer day. (Serve cool) Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Light to medium bodied and off-dry with textural mouth feel. Medium intensity with dominant characters of spice, honey and rose with citrus undertones. The time on skins and the yeast used add palate weight and texture, while enhancing the mineral undertones. The light touch of sweetness is well-balanced by a crisp acidity. Pair with coconut curries and other spicy Asian cuisine.
