Wine Review: This very good pitch black colored Petite Sirah from Epiphany was well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a blackberry and tar bouquet with a hint of nutmeg. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black raspberry and oak blend with notes of Mission fig. We also detected hints of black cherry and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger and last for a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Petite Sirah with duck confit or lamb stew. Enjoy - KWGTP
