Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with an inviting black cherry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused mild black raspberry with notes of old oak. I also detected hints of red beet and black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are refined and well managed. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The wines of 2013 at Seven Springs exhibit a classical, elegant restraint that we love. La Source Pinot Noir is wonderfully complex. Detailed with fine tannins and a great vibrancy of fruit are apparent; the concentration of flavor is held in harmonious balance by the wine’s great tension.
