Wine Review: This ink red colored Zinfandel from Lodi opens with an earthy ripe plum and blackberry bouquet with notes of cedar and hints of minerality. The palate is smooth, jammy and the earthy ripe plum carries through. The palate also included sweet cherries, hints of chocolate, raspberries and oak. I enjoyed how the flavors came together and the tannins balanced out this Zin The finish is juicy, dry and fades away nicely. I would pair this pleasing Zinfandel with a pulled pork sandwich slathered in barbecue sauce. – Joe

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of red fruits (plum, cherry) and cinnamon spice, a good density, firm tannin structure, and a long smooth finish.
